Dr Shelby is from East Tennessee, and College basketball brought her to the Upstate area in 2011. Dr Shelby received her bachelor’s degree in Science with an Exercise and Sports science focus from the University of South Carolina Upstate, where she also played D-1 basketball for four years. After completing her undergraduate degree, she pursued her dream as a professional athlete in the country of Luxembourg. After completing her professional basketball career, she returned to the United States to fulfil her lifelong dream of helping people with their health.

Dr Shelby has always been passionate about helping people reach their optimal health potential with all things natural. She moved toward that dream by completing her doctorate at Sherman College of Chiropractic in Spartanburg, SC. Completing her doctorate is only the beginning; she works diligently to stay informed of the latest healing practices while utilizing the gems in tradition. She is constantly learning and growing to be able to bring that information back to the Unity Chiropractic family. She continues her education through Harvard Medical School, Zone School, and metaphysical education.

Karly is passionate about aiding in every person's healing journey at Unity. Karly was born and raised in the Upstate, where she gained her bachelor's degree in Computer Science and minor in Information Management. She received her master's in health administration from George Washington University. During Karly's spare time, she enjoys riding her bike on Greenville's Swamp Rabbit trail, visiting the farmers market on Saturdays, reading self-development books, enjoying her two fur babies, creating artwork, and binging Netflix.
